Accreditation recognizes excellence in health data processing and transactions; ensures compliance with HIPAA privacy and security provisions
January 8, 2025. KFMC Health Improvement Partners (KFMC), a healthcare consulting organization based in Topeka, KS, announced today it has achieved Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) Privacy and Security accreditation from DirectTrust™.
Through a comprehensive third-party review, DirectTrust evaluated KFMC in areas of privacy and security, technical performance, business practices, customer service, personnel requirements, and third-party Cloud Service Providers. In addition, DirectTrust reviewed the organization’s process of managing and transferring protected health information (PHI) and determined that the organization meets or exceeds all DirectTrust criteria and industry standards.
