About the Presenter

Dr. Wark is an Assistant Professor of Infectious Disease at the University of Kansas Medical Center, as well as the subject matter expert of antibiotic stewardship (AS), healthcare-associated infections (HAI) and antimicrobial resistance (AR) in the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, HAI/AR Section. At KDHE, she is the antimicrobial stewardship lead and, at KU, she serves on the antibiotic stewardship program and is co-chair of the vaccine and ambulatory subcommittee task force groups.
